even the stoic give sway

Lost in the chill of winter

the stability of the ice

solid and steadfast

my trust i put in her

but alas

spring approaches

and the sun threatens an end

my love affair forgotten beneath the melted snow

my foundations to heat give sway

the now flowing river has won, and what once was stoic drifts away
