Stand still

Stand still

A Poem by DevinS

beauty resides in the differences between us
won't you stand still lover
I'm not done looking at you
in the night show me the darkest version of you
in the day superimpose every hidden part of me
translate my silhouette as I sleep beneath the sheet
stand still lover we've all night to navigate the maps of our existence
deep inside you let's close this distance
stand still lover this moment is long overdue
pride swallowed, my naked soul in your bed
stand still lover so we can change this point of view
