WHEN, WHAT, HOW BABY?

WHEN, WHAT, HOW BABY?

A Poem by Madeline Sime

I fell in love with you and I don't know how or when maybe it was the day I saw your pic
or maybe is was the day we first held hands
maybe it was because the way you smile
or maybe it was you chocolate eyes that I wanted my skin to taste and savor maybe it was your knees melting voice
or maybe it was your heart wrenching poems
maybe it was knowing we have both gone through way too much pain in our lives and need happiness.
Maybe its because of the way I feel like I am on a cloud when we kiss
or maybe its the way that your arms always feel like a homecoming maybe it is knowing that we are meant to be.
I don't care to figure out the when, where, how, what cause I know the who and that to me is the most important part.
