SCARED

SCARED

A Poem by Madeline Sime

Why am I scared if its a gift from god?
Why am I scared if it will love me like nobody has ever had?
Why am I scared when its the best gift anybody has ever asked for?
Well I'm scared because I am alone without anybody by my side.
I'm scared because I won't be able to see its eyes without crying out.
I am scared because I won't have the courage to tell it that it dad is never gonna hold him or her in his arms.

This is great. Being a parent IS scary. Being an unmarried mom is terrifying. Been there, done that and you have expressed the sentiment beautifully!

What a powerful, emotional poem

It displays more feelings then poems twice it size

The pace and tone of the poem is perfect for the story line presented

Well done
