maybe

maybe

A Poem by Madeline Sime

I want a quiet place just me paper pens and nature
All alone
Cause even when I’m sorrounded by people I feel alone
So maybe if I’m surrounded by nature I can feel...
Maybe if all I’m surrounded by is nature I won’t feel like I have to compete or prove myself.
 Maybe ill feel beautiful.
Maybe I won’t care about the small things.
Maybe i’ll be able to forget all of my mom screams.
Maybe I’ll be able to finally dream.
Maybe I can write novels of dreams I will never accomplish.
Maybe I will be able to find the peace and serenity that every person needs.
Maybe just maybe I can start to believe in me.
