fever dreams

fever dreams

A Poem by Madeline Sime

Fever Dreams
So weird
But there’s still you and me
Different
Yet
The same
In love
This feelings
So strong
When you are near
And so weak
When we break apart
Together we feel happiness
Apart we feel sadness
And abandoment
Even sick I understand
That we are meant to be
Meant
To save each other
From ourselves
And from what we have come to be
The question is
How long can I last
Without going crazy
Cause I miss you?
Fever dreams
So full of gibberish
And I still see
You and me.
