thanks

thanks

A Poem by Madeline Sime

you have saved me
from tormenting waves
far too many times
to turn without saying thanks

i am all your for the taking
waiting pliant with one arm
to hug and kiss and if you want
do some talking

you turn from my praise
with a bright blushing face
asking me to stop this little charade
and just take your needs away

as we walk in a haste
you hug my waist
and tell me
that we have no time to waste
