love lost 300

love lost 300

A Poem by h d e rushin
"

a love poem

"

   Broken hearts are like

   the broken wheels of

   unknown chariots.

   im'e sorry.

   Broken chariots are

   like unknown hearts

   with broken wheels.

   or was it,

   The broken beat of any

   heart, is a chariot too

   slow for spinning wheels

   to heal.

   (high heel pumps in

   windy showers are

   the redtide features

   of bliss).

So when I lay down to

   dream black dreams,

   and still can't sleep,

   I count,

   Byonce' Knowells'

   your lost bracelets,

   or a thousand

   forgotten lovers.

Brilliant! Love you play on words like your teasing the reader! The little social commentary at the end..pure genius.. put a cheeky smile on my face :)
