if i had a lionA Poem by h d e rushina love poem.
if I had a lion, First, I wouldn't share him with another poet
I'd let him run loose next to a mountain/ talk, no dance
in that familiar red lion tarantella to those who keep their pleasures on
full display. To those who give such promise to dark, inviolable trespass.
He could eat the stomachs of those cheapened through with promiscuous wonder/
Because I love you so very much. And a lion will undoubetedly protect my love from pain.
Now I'm not saying that pain ain't true not when blood and spleen shant wash off a well cropped mane;
this rich a thing hypothetical? The way you scratched me, bit my shoulder mad-love-woman. Only that
before a thing lay mortal, the wish of the dying is to go quickly as you stretch out,
palmes flattened, in the cool dry tundra, zebra and amorous can come close in those moments.
Giant ants can crawl on me.
