My heart sings of loneliness
There's so much of life you miss
So little time;
Do you sense my distress?
I cry to reach fulfillment
I dream of much success
I wish the past were present
But presently; the past is unset
As the future holds no regret
-Don't forget-
Inside your chest
Lies a seam that is unseen
Unwraveling;
piece-by-piece
As another lie slips through your teeth.
Icy rock at my feet
The sky cries in streams
Lost tears hit the street
Each one assuring I am weak.
You're gone against my will
But only time can tell
-Only when you Attempt, can you fail-
Slowly, we progress to soar and sail
But for the moment being;
I am in hell...
So alone & lonely;
I am not well.
