I'm just your only daughter [6-10-08]

I'm just your only daughter [6-10-08]

A Poem by +xDrunkenFairytalex+

What am I to you
That makes you think I'm weak
I'm just your only daughter
But I'm trapped and cannot speak.
How special am I to you
That you call me "liar" to my face
I'm just your only daughter
And I'm the big disgrace.
Who am I to you
That could never make you proud
I'm just your only daughter
That hates when you're around.
Who I'm not
Is who I must be
To make you proud
of mothering me.
But I'm just your only daughter
So I cannot change your ways
Soon I'll set foot on the road
Never again to see your face.

Parents can be...
Well, parents are >,<
Difficult...

They think they're doing what's best for you,
but sometimes, they seem to miss what's best...
