Distracted

Distracted

A Poem by +xDrunkenFairytalex+

Distracted-
Life doesn’t matter
I’m here with you
Hearing your laughter
-Craving the hand I’m reaching after.
A hug, -no, a kiss
I will take anything and call it Bliss.
Perfect, so warming,
Comfortably forming
A swarm of something flapping inside
I can’t help but smile
It’s butterflies.
Distracted-
breathing must’nt matter
All instincts quickly scatter
Chain reactions
-you smile, my heart pitter-patters.
Your wish, it’s my command
I will do anything I could bare to stand.
I’m Distracted-
by those shining eyes
Deeper than the star-filled skies
Wonder if I have a chance
Or am I worth the time that stands?
If only for a minute longer
I know I’d cherish you dearly
I’m gonna ask for your hand
Hope you will hear me.
Let me hold you closer
Hear my promise to be gentle
I swear to never hurt you
I want to show you what life was meant for.
Love, Life, -brightened smiles
Take my hand and breathe a while.
