illusions

The memories, wishes, and dreams,
Nothing as it seems.
Wishes, kisses, love and more,
Ev'rything we all adore.
Pick me up, spin me 'round,
I'm giving up, just let me down.
Confusion spinning all around,
Spinning, twisting, falling down.
Help me, God, I'm getting dizzy,
I'm too late, He's way too busy.
Life is a ride, it spins too fast,
Get me off, I cannot last.
Lift me up, I've fallen down,
All these thoughts surround me now.
I can't get up and save myself,
Help me stand, if nothing else.
I see them all, staring at me,
It's driving me crazy, can't you see?
All my life, the memories and dreams,
Flashes before me, with giggles and screams.
Nothing I've done is real or right,
I cover my eyes and close them tight.
The wild dreams and twisted confusions,
My life is filled with all these illusions.
