Never Letting Go

Never Letting Go

A Poem by +xDrunkenFairytalex+

I reach for you,
My one true friend,
I fear that soon,
We'll see the end.
Our friendship falls,
But I reach for more,
I won't let go,-
You're who I'm living for.
Chains can hold us feet away,
And rules can bind to make me stay,
But, my friendship never fades,
So hold on tight, I'm on my way.
You hold me up,
And I hold you,
When times are rough,
And breaths are few.
I won't run off,
I won't hold back,
They can beat me down,
But I'm running back.
I'll fight for you,
And all your life,
Just to know,
You'll be alright.
