Restrain my Pain

Restrain my Pain

A Poem by +xDrunkenFairytalex+

The days go fast,
but still I ache,
I cry alone,
as I lie awake,
And whisper to myself,
"It will be okay."
Yesterday is the same as tomorrow,
Again, I'll be filled with this lonesome sorrow.
I stare out my window,
And remember a time,
When all my life,
Was perfectly fine.
I don't read nor draw,
-Just sit and wait,
For those words to be said,
on that joyous day.
I will leave this place,
And be homeward bound,
-So full of joy,
I may kiss the ground.
They think it will help,
to be pinned and chained,
Don't they see the craze,
After being restrained?
