Lonesome Journey

Lonesome Journey

A Poem by +xDrunkenFairytalex+

 Have you ever had,
That moment in time,
When all reality,
Is on a single line?
-When all your aches and pain release,
In floods of tears you can't out pace.
That handful of minutes
That drift away,
-whose stabbing pain,
won't soon fade.
You reach and scream,
For a helping hand,
But no one seems,
To gladly stand.
And all your faults,
and small regrets,
Come afloat and destroy,
A perfect mind-set.
You realize what's real and fake,
And wish once more, for old time sake.
Weaping in anger,
For what you lost,
-But won't let go,
For the largest cost.
You can't get back,
What you once did love,
So you kneel in prayer,
To God above.
-To anyone,
Who'll answer your plea,
For hope and love,
To carry on this journey.
