Hyper and Chaos in a bowl (with milk)

Hyper and Chaos in a bowl (with milk)

A Poem by Steph Crandall

Fluids running down the wall.

Neon lights over head.

Running faster gets you nowhere.

Alleyways lead back to Pandemonium.

High above the clouds.

Jammin’ together.

Mediocrity is alone.

Stars are sneaky,

when you’re not looking.

Loving relationships are lava lamps.

Drama enthralls tension,

and the break up begins.

It’s not worth it anyway.

The allergic sunshine beats down.

Chaos brings the storm.

Clouds hide the cheerios from extinction.

Kitchen drawers are beyond reality.

Society is damned.

The eye of destruction ponders.

“When people get lonely,

everybody’s a celebrity.”
