I embrace my opposite

Lovers made whole

Definitions melt away

Comparisons limit

Merging liberates

I fold into

My lover’s arms

Breathing in his essence

Basking in the difference

Renewing my adventurous spirit

I share what I know

Love heals all wounds

Embracing the moment

Keeps me grounded

Looking out in wonder

Creation is a playground

The Garden of Eden

Lies in my front yard

Diversity teaches me

What I truly believe

I am not

What I do

I am the faith

Behind the action

I pray you see love there

I am not this life

I am an eternity of lives

Lived to the fullest

Deaths eternally mourned

Forever missing old friends

I look ahead to tomorrow

The legacy of this life

Haunts my next

May I remain a guardian angel

Looking after each being I become

What comes to me

Out of my control

Resistance is futile

Acceptance the key

Yin rising

Act upon will

Threefold into the world

I'm really glad I came across this. It hit me pretty hard when you started talking about the legacy of this life haunting your next. Then the guardian angel thing made me really think. Imagine we are our own guardian angels... The last stanza/section was gold too. Thanks for sharing, I loved it!
