Flowing From Within

 Contentment my goal
I seek my heart for answers
I tear down the walls of anger
Seeking enlightenment

Kindness is the seed
Begets compassion
Blooms into love
I rejoice through embrace

The fountain flows from within
Showers good will
Throughout humanity
Hope is audacious

I kneel in gratitude
For the blessings received
Joy unending
The glory of unity

Love is not a tool
Love is existence
The challenge is trusting myself
Enough to expose it

The world clutters our lives
Fills us with concerns
Blocks out our light
Ridiculing our hope

Trusting myself is hard
I am the voice
Crying out in the desert
Offering all that I treasure

Love leads me on
My journey takes me home
Expectations do not chain me
Demands do not come from me

Power belongs to the multitude
Force pulls me in every direction
Love holds me together
Alters my perception

Mercury lies in Cancer
My voice emerges from my emotions
Overpowers my rationality
Communicating through actions

I give to receive
Trusting karma’s promise
My way is clear
Nirvana is just an inhale away
