Incomplete

Seeking a voice

Through the perspective

Of aspects of Creation

Such as me

History weighs me down

I was sliced up

Into pieces

By external sources

People telling me

They loved me

While all the time

Breaking off parts of me

That they didn’t like

Forcing me to hide

My heart

Through ridicule

Through abuse

I won’t let that happen again

Healing puts me 

Back together

I must unite myself

Through love

Embrace my all

I am Creation

God does not make mistakes

I am as God intended

God said, “It is good.”

Why does humanity

Say differently

Conundrums of the heart

I must let go

Before I can heal

Let go of the pain

Let go of the abuse

Let go of the lies

Let go of the anger

Let go of the insecurities

Which plague my existence

I am important in this world

A good woman

Doing the best I can

In an evolving world

I am evolving

Life is a journey

A dance of existence

Expanding perceptions

Through experience

Leading to mastery

Of self

Cannot control the others

Can only open my heart

Experience my pain

Weep for the multitudes

Weep for what was

Then use it to create

Fertilizer for my garden

Creations of my mind

Self mastery requires

An open heart

So the change that comes

Will take this caterpillar

And give her wings

So I can rise above
