LandscapeA Poem by Drowning In RealityLandscape Overwhelmed by thoughts A jumble of emotions Seeking meaning From a conglomeration of words Start my yoga Clear my mind Meditate on comprehension Light begins to dawn Where does difference begin? We are all part of a whole Like pieces of a jigsaw puzzle Yet we are unique We divide into colors Like a landscape Individually unremarkable Collectively Creation Intellect saw me through The worst of times Diverted my pain Into Faith usually for the future I see no thing But I feel eternal Surrounded in the Love Of Creator Never understood Taoist teachings On learning Until I unlearned That which I was taught Find the earth’s energy Absorb it into Being Accept as my own Here I find Yin It is the water The surrender The acceptance Which leads to love Yang is action Personal response to yin Yang is the fire Which boils yin Thus emotions formed Are acted upon And reacted to Through each physical form Thus behavior results Good and evil not for me to judge All I know are my feelings And observed behavior I Will not to emulate Never felt at home In this physical form Trying finally to learn how But my joints ache on Winter mornings I am as I am The Divine within Watches without in amazement Seeks opportunities to serve God of war turned God of Love Blessed by Her Presence His beating heart Keeps Universe in motion Where to begin Best to start with myself Be the change Spread the word It doesn’t matter to whom we bow It doesn’t matter whom we worship It doesn’t matter our ethnicity It doesn’t matter economic status Each life force derives From the same source All is unity All is equality It is there I find the Tao The great mother Acceptance Love Blessed be
