Prayer

 I unite with those

Who gaze into the sun

My goal lies within reach

At home in my life

Time provides

Certainties prevail

I seek

So I know I shall find

 

As I burn off karma

My inner divine shines

Lights my path

I thrive in tedium

Every chore a prayer

For the future

Now is the foundation

For what will be

 

Illusions of the past melt

Hope fills the gaps

Where worries resided

A tornado awaits me

My Yellow Brick Road

Leads me to Truth

 My Self, my reward

My inheritance

 

My ego sacrificed

For the greater good

I dig deep to my roots

Reaching for the stars

I am matter and energy

Routine of Prayer

The foundation

Upon which Karma is built

 

Perhaps prayer is all

I’ll ever have

So be it… as She Wills

Not as I will

Still, I embrace my possibilities

I do what is necessary

To unite Nirvana
