Sophia Speaks In Riddles

Sophia Speaks In Riddles

A Poem by Drowning In Reality

Sophia Speaks In Riddles

I dwell in my cave

Seeking inner light
I contemplate truth

Await my celestial guide
Long for self fulfillment

Distracted by societal demands
My wealth is not of nations

But Persephone’s offerings

Outside it’s drab and gray

Noah never knew such rain.
Supernovas of time

Pass from sight
Courage occasionally wanes

I doubt goals can be achieved
I pass through caverns

Best left uninhabited

Still I must travel

To find my way home
My runes are candles.

Tarot whispers warning
I inhale inspiration

I exhale regret
I follow the trail of the hound

His vision is clearer than mine

I tie loose ends on my way

The rope tames the beast

Which leads to integration

I am One with All

Transformation shadowed

Heart peeks around each corner

Unsure of what to expect

Know only rites of old

I long to share my harvest

Impatient for fruition
Goddess left unappreciated

In a man’s world
Emotions rejected

As ramblings of irrationality
Heart is my conduit

To Divine knowledge

Whispers truth

In a breeze
Words cannot express

What Her sensations endure
Sophia speaks in riddles

That few can hear
She shows me

Who I am

I experience solitude
Knowledge revealed
Fate accepted
Peace vanishes

Adventure begins

Thank you so much.
It's so strange and imaginative. Rich in contrasting images. Adore it :)
