Fool

Fool

A Poem by Drowning In Reality

The Fool

The ancient God of creativity

Snapped at our heal like a crocodile

I seek to fulfill my emotional needs

While I make a point about the Source of Life

I balance what is on the way to what will be

Vulnerability and sensitivity understood as prerequisites of Love

They fly around us like the air

I breathe their essence and smile at what I see around me

I have changed over time

My cocoon has unraveled

My time as a mummy is over

I have flown away

I am healed

Then I exhale

I am bitten by the tiger

I cannot feel

I stand on the edge of a cliff

Waiting to see which way I will fall

Fear has no power over me

Either way I am free

Do not be afraid

We are all in this thing together
