Understanding comes from experience

Perception remains individual

We glow from inner light

Cave dwellers depend on light

To complete their journey

Inspiration expressed as light

Light wards off the evils of ignorance

Truth brings wisdom through light

 

I ken my time on earth is limited

Humanity rejects future

Enjoys the illusion of prophecy

To avoid responsibility

For our actions in the Now

Ideas, demoralized by politicians

Science, demonized by industry

Truth, snuffed out for monetary gain

 

Yet I take with me Knowledge

Value far beyond gold

Share with those who listen

Hope to pass the torch

Light does not dim when shared

Instead grows bolder

As it illuminates each companion

Radiates when united

 

Wisdom thrives on cognition

Understanding depends on insight

Together they peak in Divine Light

Reveals that which is hidden

Behind masks of tangibility

Sophia steps from the shadows

Greets her lovers as they arrive

Enlightenment theirs upon request

 

I genuflect expectant for my opportunity

To be molded into what She Wills
