For Regina Where I May Find Her

For Regina Where I May Find Her

A Poem by Drowning In Reality

For Regina Where I May Find Her

I take a journey inside my soul

Visit the reality I’m offered

Wander within perspective

Unite with other realities along my way

I greet the sisters of fate

As they weave their webs of illusion

They offer a drink from their well

I luxuriate in visions they offer

I touch and am touched by community

Those realities I encounter

Troubadours of joy and sorrow

Who share the burdens of life

Karma unfolds before me

Focus on every mistake

Delighted by each success

Dreams for tomorrow endure

How long can this shell last

I see the light up ahead

Which path takes me there?

Lost in this maze of matter

Goals veiled by distractions

I am further than I was

Not as far as I must go

On this spiral of being

Second star to the right

And straight on ‘til morning
