Guardian

Guardian

A Poem by Drowning In Reality

Guardian

I owe an apology

To my guardian angel

Silent too long

Thought she was

Asleep at the wheel

Or maybe I was her first

Thought mistakes occurred

Inside afraid that I

Let me down

Unworthy

Perspective changed

Life seen as education

My Angel in each Passersby

Know I’d been touched

Blessings overflow

Attention required

Shakespeare’s Fool

Wisest of all

Within the Least of my brothers

The grace of God

There but for go I

I feel love

Hard-fought battle

Empowered by Faith

Enacted within

Expressed without

Courage to commit

Sissies need not apply

Nurses at the ready

Succeed a verb

Life a marathon

Body my temple

Praise Creation

Abs of steel

Power Unlimited

Heart the ultimate lover

As above so below

United by Spirit

Through a hug

Angelic Disco

Moves the blood

Grows compassion

Follow the Bliss

Gates of Paradise

Affect Life
