Power

External power never mine

Humility a lesson hard learned

Yet remains useful

Never farsighted

Not leader material

Compassion abundant

But no will to govern

Prefer to watch and learn

Than to alter another

Rather be a part

Than apart

So I wait

And struggle

As I discover

My power

Within
