Awaiting Judgment

Awaiting Judgment

A Poem by Drowning In Reality

Awaiting Judgment

The Tree of Life heals

I understand more now

I can feel where once I was numb

I changed myself completely

What I was is not what I am

The pain must be addressed

The truth must be told

I stand alone awaiting judgment

Am I to be stoned or hung or stabbed

Mine is the path of the mother

Embracing through the sorrow

Seeking the joy within

Nourishment of the Goddess

Eternal existence for the taking

Just inhale
