Forgive me

Forgive me

A Poem by Itwasonceuponatime
"

Will you?

"
You gave your life to raise me,
You gave your beauty to see me grow,
You gave your smile just to see me happy.
But i have failed you.

I have made your hair gray,
I have truned your smile into a line,
I have turned your skin into sandpaper.

So consider this my apologie,
Oh woman with the heart of gold.

For i have wasted all that you have given me,
And gave you nothing back,
For in your eyes you see someone who is not me,
Forgive me for deceiving you,
But such a harsh blow i cannot land upon your back,
For that blow would break you,
And that i cannot endure.

To see you crubmle before my eyes,
To see love leave your eyes and hate make it's home there,
To see tears flowing from the ocean in your eyes.

Forgive me, oh woman with the heart of gold,
Forgive me for the failure that I am and shall alawys be,
Forgive me for lying to those sky blue eyes,
But most of all forgive me for concealeing what I am,

Forgive me mother, for being.
