This GiftA Poem by Doreen
I hunt the night, I cannot rest,
'tis blood that I do crave. For centuries, nocturnal life, to which I am a slave. Yes, fear me, for I need to feed, I will not hesitate. Now, as I take you in my arms, there will be no debate. I feel you slowly yield to me, our bodies now entwine. Tonight I give to you this gift - eternal life divine. So, say goodbye to windy days, the night is all there'll be, the path is set for which to walk - the path that sets us free. Come join sweet, dark, nocturnal bliss, and stay forever young. Drain the blood from mortal souls, and taste it on your tongue! Erase the anguish from your mind, for that which is your plight; embrace, instead, the daylight's end, each dusk we will take flight. Once lost in mortal misery, this night it all will cease. You'll find the darkness in your soul, upon the night, unleashed. © 2012 DoreenAuthor's Note
