changeA Poem by Valerie Cwiekowskisomething's gotta changeangry morning bright sunrise watching the way twilight beings begin every day
can't find enough heartache can't understand why, you didn't call, my dear can't find enough cracks on a sidewalk to turn decades lost back
not unlike before, she cries, never enough don't bend until you've been down too long
paradise lost no one knows why we're so divided no one knows why left versus right no one knows why no one knows why
lonely mothers sisters and brothers unemployed lovers broken down soldiers downtrodden workers everyone's trying to find a way
no one knows why no one knows why time to begin the best of our days
