                         Salt

            Salt goes good on eggs

            but it don't do much for table legs

            or coffee dregs

            or antiquated whiskey kegs

    

            It will help you catch a bird

            or so I've heard

            and give flavor to a word

            " but"  it won't do s**t

            for a t**d "
