Excerpt: Morbid thoughts are now somehow velvet lace/ making graveyards look like gardens.Morbid thoughts are now somehow velvet lace, making graveyards look like gardens. The moon has turned as bright as the sun, and glares at me with nonchalant eyes, knowing its place as the master of the night, the fictitious lamp of darkness. I lean by the large diseased tree, where below lay corpses, crumbs of beings, once animate and alive, but now dirt. And so, I am made to ponder, 'Such is the end of a king, and such is the end of a pauper.'
