A Rose Wafted

A rose wafted amongst
the frozen fields,
dancing with the breeze.
It had sprung
from icy, time-frozen lands.
A miracle, in a godforsaken
place, where all stood at a still.
And a most peculiar sight it had been,
mortals travelled across all seven seas,
just to catch a glimpse.

Be it as it may, they became amaurotic
towards its elegance.
The rose had become a pariah,
something that was scorned.

So, is life.

Even a beauty amongst uglies,
will be mocked for being an
anomaly.
