K Trip

K Trip

A Poem by CASSARA

Illuminating purple night sky,

In morse code stars twinkle, h - e - l - l - o.

My identity's detached,

I'm One with the constellations.

Physical perceptions liquidate,

Transcending the imagination.

Questioning my very existence,

2-D iridescent elephants run free,

Around a tree in the distance.

Helicopters hover by and gravitate over a lake,

As combat men fall from ropes where tankers await,

This is a K trip.
