The Face

The Face

A Poem by CASSARA

I've seen a face,

In disguise,

In the skies,

This one time.

With gyrating eyes large in size,

I could not tell,

If it were alive,

Until I heard a gentle sigh,

And felt a tear drop,

Fall by my side.

I spoke to it,

To make it better.

It whispered to me,

These four letters;

"MDMA."

Can I have a taste?

A smile plastered on the face.

Euphoric and grandiose, it replied,

"So long as your ready for the ride".

I climbed the nearest tree,

To get closer to the face.

"Looking into my swirling eyes,

will take you to that place".

So without any hesitation,

I stared in hypnotic mesmerization.

And through it's eyes,

I conceptualized,

My life in new translation.
