Sorry

Sorry

A Poem by Drew

Scattered pills across the floor.
You can’t bare to look anymore.
You ran away and slammed the door.
I know I left so premature.

You once had a life of bliss.
And then I left without a kiss.
I can see your pain across your wrists.
I’m sorry for leaving you like this.

It pains me to see how you are.
Your flawless skin covered in scars.
We were so near and now so far.
You’re alone and I’m with the stars.

No one will hear your plea.
So now you act just like me.
You close the door so no one sees.
Your eyes close and now you’re free.
