Stuck in my head.

Stuck in my head.

A Poem by Drew
"

A poem about someone who you can't get out of your head.

"

You’re stuck in my head like a song I heard on the radio,

I try to forget thoughts of you but none of them will go.

You’ve always been here, I can’t get you out of my mind,

Every day I wait for the moment that we will someday find,

Each other again.  But things will not be the same.

I always think about the first moment that you came,

Into my life.  It was definitely the best day,

And now all I do is sit at home and pray,

That I can someday forget you, because it causes so much pain,

Thinking of your smile, your laughter, and how you like to kiss in the rain.

They say it’s better to hurt than feel nothing at all,

But sometimes I wish I could go back, to the first few times you would call,

And not answer the phone, I wonder how my life would be,

All our good times gone, but at least my mind would be free.
