Help, Here

Help, Here

A Poem by krissie

The pain pours out of my mouth
Like water from the dark grey sky

My words get tangled in the labyrinth
Where confusion and chaos reside

I skim the surface of love and hate
Giving in to both at different times

Words hurt her deep inside
But she is facing me, standing strong

They hurt because of their honesty
Where truth pricks like a thorn

Under the midnight sky I cry out
Asking for forgiveness from the past

I cannot rewrite history or I would
Now all I can do is to make amends

To seek the future and to do the best
In everything that I do, I hold out my hand
