Fall and Rise (Sort of)

Fall and Rise (Sort of)

A Poem by Emily
"

A poem about how screwed up people can get from fame

"

Waiting to be sold

Wrecked our minds in the cold

Starved for cash to pay the bills

Spent it all on love and thrills

Revolution for profit

 Future stars for sale

Addicted to fanatics

Sell outs never fail

Don’t you see we’re legends?

We know to play the part.

Don’t you know we’re famous?

Our music’s from the heart.

Begging to be sold

And die before we’re old

Seems like time is standing still

Fortune stifles, fame can kill
