Faraway

Faraway

A Poem by Dreamwind
"

A place to let go, be me,

"

Faraway

Another place,
Another space,
Where the soul of me,
Lives,
Forgives,
Breathes,
Sees,
Beauty,
In the blues,
The pinks,
Where scribbled words,
Surge,
Forth,
And spring free,
I close my eyes,
On the golden sand,
Of another time,
The rhymes,
All mine,
Where imagination
Is at a premium,
And they beg you,
To come inside,
And abide,
In the yellow curtain light,
There is no night,
Only sunsets, and sunrises,
And fantasy surprises,
And magic does exist,
And you can wish,
On twilight stars,
Before tomorrow,
Fades,
And trade
Your gray shoes,
For red ones,
And become
Whatever you
Always wanted
To be.

Just click your ruby heels and repeat after me, there's no place like home. :) You know, if we were born in another time we might be minstrels or court poets with a premium placed upon our talents. What a sad state the world has come to.

Any negative can be turned into a positive with the right attitude... the rhyming made it a fun read and the message was uplifting.
