I Felt You Today

I Felt You Today

A Poem by Dreamwind

My dearest love,

I felt you today,

Watching over me,

What did you see?

The delirious delight,

In my flight,

Along the street,

I greet,

Everyone,

With a laugh,

Not half-

Hearted,

But fully started,

Glee,

I see,

The new moon,

Too soon,

While pink clouds,

Are still allowed,

To streak the sky,

 I don't know why,

I sigh,

In peace,

In relief,

That I know who I am,

I cram,

All the possibilities,

Growing up inside of me,

Into my mind,

I find,

Everything,

To be happy for,

And that sad floor?

Is now a door,

To endless joy,

To this,

My story,

And I did feel you today.

Spirits move among us both of the living and the dead. When spirits of the living travel we call them "dreams". When the spirit of the dead travel we call them ghosts or inspiration.

I really felt the title . . . I think I've probably said it somewhere before
