Out There

Out There

A Poem by Dreamwind
"

Remembering, watching the world go by through the windows, as a teen.

"

Looking out the window,

The room is dark,

Do not disturb,

Don't say a word,

Or even this splurge,

Will be taken away,

Someone will say,

"No!"

And the world,

Inside,

Stops,

For me,

While I watch,

The clock,

Tick-tock,

Beautiful chimes,

Remind,

Of a time,

Of sheltered rhymes,

You can't regret,

What hasn't happened yet,

As the world passes by,

In headlight blur,

I wonder,

As I stare,

What its like,

Out there.
