Read on a piece of paper found on the ground

A note, a love letter, a piece of garbage

A feeling expressed

A feeling thrown away, thrown on the ground

Maybe it was an accident,

Maybe the note was dropped just like the hopes of the lover

Perhaps the love letter was thrown out just like the heart of the lover

Possibly the note never reached the one loved,

just like how they will never reach their full potential as lovers

Perhaps the note was written to oneself to remind them that they are loved,

just like a final goodbye note written to oneself who doesn't feel loved at all

Was written on the note that I gave you.
