The FlowerA Story by Emma GarsideThis story shows the two extremes of different feelings. love and hate and how they interact. based on my personal experiences. You're given a rose from the one you love
You take the rose,
Feeling loved, feeling thought of , feeling important,
Like you're the only one they think of at night.
You hold the rose
Smell the sweet scent it gives off
See the perfectly bloomed petals in a beautiful bright yet soft red.
you take it home, put it in a vase and put the vase by your bedside.
You look at it every night before you drift off into a deep lovely sleep where you dream of one you love.
You are happy, you are content and mostly you are in love.
Wow, can you believe that your in love, and you know you are loved back.
You think it's the strongest feeling in the world and you are completely okay with it.
But then one day you find out you weren’t loved.
Even worst you weren't the only one he loved.
You were only just a girl he spent some of his time with, while he was your everything.
You feel hurt, Alone, lost and deceived.
You want to cry, yell at him, hit, hug, punch and kiss him
You go home after the longest day of your life.
You go to your bed to sit and cry and wallow,
you look over and see the rose.
That rose brings back ever emotion you felt when you were with him, when you weren't, when you were thinking of him, when you loved him. You sit there and cry, you cry so hard you can't breathe. And in this moment you realize the only stronger feeling than love is betrayal. This feeling of betrayal consumes you and soon it's all you think about. The feeling of being so close and just how soon that happy feeling turns into depression. This depression consumes you even more. You don't leave the house anymore, Hardly eat anything, Stay in bed all day and just sit there. You spend your time thinking about everything that happened, everything you wanted to happen, everything that should and shouldn't of happened. You start to regret things. Things that made you the happiest girl in the world slowly make you the saddest. Then one day you look at your bedside table and see the vase. The vase with the flower. The flower that made you feel loved. But this time when you look at the flower you see that it died. It's wilting right in front of you and there nothing you can do The flower is dying right in front of you while you feel as if your dying. You realize and understand some things in life are too precious to mess with or let them be. Some things need extra care and some things need to be left alone. Other wise you're stuck with a broken heart or even a dying flower.
