Breathe

Breathe

A Poem by dreaming dame
"

Agony, but this gives me strenth, in a way.

"

One more heartbeat,

One more breath of air

and another night mare.

A fire-breathing dragon,

trapping, burning innocents,

Death is the core of its escence.

Imagination can't seem to conquer

this death beast.

Can't I breathe at least?

Fire all around,

eating me, my air.

Doesn't anyone care?

My life is leaving,

I am no longer breathing.

What is my last thought?

What would your last thought be, if you were being burned alive, and couldn't escape, and eventually know you were going to die? I wonder what Frank's last thought was. :'(
Thank you for reading. Tell me what you think.

I loved this poem...It`s absoltely close to me, the expressions are so vivid and the feeling strong! The fire and air form a picture of sensations and emotions...

My lost thought would be of heaven, the hope knowing that I am saved. I enjoyed reading the piece but i believe you have some room for improvement though. "Night mare" should be one word (3)

I went to the concentration camps in Europe. I met a survivor of the death camp and listen to his story. The death of the people using the mix of chemical was a horrible death. I believe all you could do is pray for death quickly and the last thoughts would be painful and terrible. A powerful poem. It is amazing what man does to his brothers and sisters. Thank you for the excellent poem.
