Mirror

A Poem by dreaming dame
"

Just a reflection of thoughts...

"

Mirror mirror on my wall,

Show em the truest one of all.

But the glass remains a mere reflection.

Showing honest, unwanted truths.

Dark eyes, pale skin.

Sickness of stress, a boring blue blue dress.

Seeking help, love at it's perfection.

Just a hint, ray of hope,

unrevealed in my jeweled reflection.

Who am I kidding?!

This is reality.

No mirror will help me.

No wishes or sparkles will happen.

I'm not even sure there is a Prince Charming.

So I'll go on, surviving reality.

Somehow.

I don't know you intentionally wrote blue twice but somehow I like it:) I kinda like your version of mirror mirror. You said, show em the truest one of all, an you saw yourself, meaning you're the truest one of all!!:):)
