MoonbeamsA Poem by dreaming dameI don't know what to do but sigh, as I see the moon so high, and wish my worries goodbye to the moonbeams in the sky but I sit here instead and cry, wondering why I hadn't seen the day coming nigh where my innocence did fly leaving me not enough to get by.
And then I decide that away I will fly. Away; away to the moon's light Where there's only gentle light. Hidden from Hateful's sight. And seen in the lover's eye And there will remain 'till the day we die.
We believers of the moon's light. Sweet light of gentle night. where troubles say bye. Gentleness of Moon's light says hi. To give sleep, by the moon's light in the sky.
