Illuminated

Illuminated

A Poem by df

soft lips placed upon heightened anxiety
melting away the rush of darkness
beautiful daggers pull away, safety

a whisper of ebony hair catching the breeze
acting as a down pillow, falling
sleeping on a cloud, ascending down

spring of smiles, fountain of dreams
hit by a slew of silver, fluttering doves
the infinite embrace not expected

at least not from this entity:
a failure of search among angels
when all along it was a goddess

who was to reach me.

know what?? i love poems that don't rhyme, but still rock.. know why? 'cause I can't write one... I noticed one thing... engineers are good writers

I like it, but I didn't like reading through it and correcting punctuation and grammor as I went. I know that no one's perfect but you could have at least used capital letters, full stops and other punctuation. By doing this you could make this piece so much better.

Ouch..this is a sensual dagger..words rushing like a waterfall and whispering enigmatically like a stream..words not enigmatic at all...to a fellow translator of the soul...
It is beautiful
